" 'A podcast about the internet' that is actually an unfailingly original exploration of modern life and how to survive it."
A podcast about self-inserts in various fandoms, fan fiction, and other fan ephemera.
We Should Be Friends
"WSBF is a podcast about exciting work by cool people."
"Woodland Secrets is the personal talk show of merritt k. It's not an interview podcast in a strict sense—instead, it's a loose, casual conversation between two friends about their work, lives, and interests."
One of my all-time favorite podcasts. Two comedians, twice a week, cover interesting and little-known events in history. The catch is: one of them is reading what happened and the other has no idea what the topic is about. It's funnier than it sounds, trust me.
My Brother, My Brother, and Me
"My Brother, My Brother and Me is an advicecast for the modern era featuring three real-life brothers: Justin, Travis and Griffin McElroy. For roughly five-sixths of an hour each week, with new episodes dropping every Monday, the brothers McElroy will answer any query sent our way, each fielding questions falling into our respective areas of expertise. We operate like a streamlined, advice-generating machine. It’s both terrifying and humbling to behold."
This American Life
"This American Life is a weekly public radio show broadcast on more than 500 stations to about 2.2 million listeners. It is also often the most popular podcast in the country, with another 2.5 million people downloading each episode."
Beyond the Filter
A podcast about Internet-based niches, and the people that take part in them. A very interesting podcast.
Two people use Wikipedia's Random Article button over and over in search for unknown discoveries that lie beneath its coded pages. Fun, friends, and niche topics abound.
Twenty Thousand Hertz
A podcast all about the sounds we hear in our daily lives, and the people behind them.

Don't go near the dog park.
Story-Based Fictional Podcasts
Alice Isn't Dead
"A truck driver searches across America for the wife she had long assumed was dead. In the course of her search, she will encounter not-quite-human serial murderers, towns literally lost in time, and a conspiracy that goes way beyond one missing woman."
The Adventure Zone
"Justin, Travis and Griffin McElroy from My Brother, My Brother and Me have recruited their dad Clint for a [D&D] campaign of high adventure. Join the McElroys as they find their fortune and slay an unconscionable number of ... you know, kobolds or whatever in ... The Adventure Zone."
Two journalists uncover a HUGE plot led on by several people to TURN OFF THE INTERNET. Will they prevent it from happening? Or will the Internet die a firey, technological death? Many people, many experiences, many sides. One goal.
A podcast network filled with mostly tech-related podcasts. There's probably something you'll like here.
"Maximum Fun is your home on the internet for things that are awesome."
